Welcome to the new blog of James Christianson Photography. I am a photographer in Virginia Beach, VA. This blog is meant to be the "dumping ground" for me. I have a tendency to get so caught up in what I am doing that I pretty much forget about everything else (which is not good when you have a wife and two little boys.) I will be TRYING to update this blog at least every week at most every event. Please enjoy and feel free to leave comments.

Mary Paige & Nick 8.16.2009

A couple of weeks ago Nick and Mary Paige came to Virginia from Georgia (Atlanta to be exact) just to hang out with us and get their engagement session in the books…well maybe they came for their nieces baptism but I keep telling myself they came up just to see us. We started out with then intention spending all day running around getting shots everywhere we could think of but we started out in Smithfield and found so much cool stuff there we couldnt find a reason to leave. Congrats Nick and Mary Paige cant wait for the wedding (mainly for the brownie bar)

Katie & Morgan 5.16.2009

Katie and Morgan tied the knot down in Elizabeth City, NC at The Pond House Inn. We showed up to pouring down rain - not the best conditions for an outdoor wedding/reception but minutes before the ceremony was to begin, the clouds broke, the sun came out and much fun was had by all. The wedding turned out phenomenal thanks to all the planning by Isha Foss and her staff. As a parting gift Morgan brewed his own beer and handed out a bottle to everyone…a perfect ending to a perfect day!
